Just spotted a really unusual bird for Sea Ranch. It was about the size and coloring of a Stellerās Jay, but no crest and bright yellow bill. Closest I can get is a yellow-billed magpie but I didnāt notice any white. This mystery will haunt me until the day I die.

We catch raccoons on the camera sometime as well. Never caught a bobcat, but it would be reasonable to expect it one day. Plus various birds. Weāre too close to the coast for bears though neighbors closer to the trees get them from time to time. The deer have never ventured onto the porch.

AI doesnāt need to be applied in ways that destroy the remaining bonds between knowledge, labor, and value; but I think unchecked thereās an inherent bias toward that in the technology.
Groups of 3+ might be families but thatād be pretty obvious. Do they ever do the demon rattle? Itās what I call the low clicking ravens make sometimes.
I think itās a common raven. The beak is a little crow like, but itās got that little bit of beak fuzz and a ruffled chest. You can also guess based on if it was solo/in a pair (more likely raven) or group (crow).

The sitter didnāt seem like the kind of guy men stick around for. I think weāre likely looking at a case of individual negligence/mistreatment.
