Update: I offered the amendment. Not to refuse acceptance of the Qatari jet; just to prohibit Trump from taking it with him when he leaves office - after the taxpayers spend $1 billion to retrofit it. Failed 14-15. Every single Republican voted to allow Trump to take the jet.

hate to tell you henry, a 4.2 isn't extraordinary these days. even schools like ucla and usc (never mind the ivies) get 100,000+ applications for the freshman class, so they're looking for many other credentials. so many kids don't know their posh zip code or fancy private school are disadvantages.
