If you're a parent: it doesn't matter if you think you preteen/teen isn't sexually active yet. Get them the HPV vaccine.
My chronic illnesses are a pain in the butt. Glad to not have cervical cancer on top of it.
I feel so very grateful to have gotten the HPV vaccine when I was 15. A nurse practitioner came to our health class in high school, and I was easily on board. HPV vaccine limits suffering due to cancers associated with some strains of HPV.

IMO a worst case scenario is Covid vaccines' approvals get revoked citing ACIP guidance but I'm merely a disabled journalist speculating so public health professionals please weigh in.

FDA/CDC could revoke approval citing guidance from them, but it wouldn't be automatic, I believe.
Those are also questions I don't really have the answer too. I'd be concerned if there was a complete revocation of FDA/CDC approval based on guidance from ACIP. I don't know if Democratic states could hand out the vaccines in that scenario.

Acetaminophen remains a safe pain relief option during pregnancy. Despite recent unfounded claims, there’s no clear evidence linking prudent use to fetal development issues. ACOG's guidance remains. When needed in pregnancy, acetaminophen should be used in moderation, after consulting a doctor.
Tylenol/autism stuff is bad for many reasons, but it will be used to push the idea that pregnant people shouldn't have pain relief. Women's pain is already dismissed.

And as a non-autistic person, I don't even get the worst of it. I don't think RFK Jr has even ever specifically mentioned my autoimmune disorder (vasculitis), and I'm so tired by him.
Awareness can suck if it's in the hands of the wrong people, I guess.
As a sick person, I would like to be perceived less by RFK Jr and the MAHA movement. Never did I think I would be more unhappy with chronic illness becoming more of a topic of conversation.

The danger of small studies showing slight increase that isn’t statistically significant is that it will be used by people like Kennedy.
This isn’t to say some people in very rare events, this can happen. But, as someone who read one of his most recent books, he argues that research shows vaccines are more likely to make people chronically ill.
RFK Jr thinks us sick people are responsible for us being sick. He’s making it harder for healthy people to get the COVID vaccine because he believes vaccines trigger most chronic illnesses.
Cassidy also asked incredibly tough questions in the confirmation hearings and then caved on the vote (which was honestly wild in every way because this is a guy who voted to convict Trump in the second impeachment trial so he already was a mark for their vengeance)
It's not a matter of intellect, it's a lack of critical thinking education paired with weaponized disinformation by eugenicists. The issue with characterizing this stuff as "d*mb" isn't just the ableism, but also the fact that it misses root causes.
And in other places too (like grocery stores, any medical place, pharmacies, public transit) even if you don’t mask all the time.

Getting rid of vaccine mandates for kids while cutting Medicaid and also going after the federal Department of Education means there will be more disabled kids with less structure to help them with infection-triggered disabilities.
I can't put into words how relieved I am to have parents over the age of 65 who are pro-Covid vaccine. I don't envy people who have to beg their older parents to get vaccinated.
