I had to unsubscribe from @quigley.house.gov weekly email updates (that are all fluff) and unfollow him here. His inaction just makes me angry. He’s all talk. Not much of that either. Regret my past votes for him.

A lot of people are going to lose a lot of money investing in all the AI hype. Sure it will drive a massive wave of change and there will be significant job loss (and gains). But I think about .com, B2B, Metaverse, etc. The waves never seem to live up to their hype.
Democrats have failed. We are leaderless. Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer are worthless. We have potential saviors in Pritzker, Buttigieg and others but I’m afraid it’s just too late. I hate to be so negative - it’s not my typical view. I will still fight and hope to be proven wrong.
Same. And for the first time yesterday it occurred to me that the US as we know it is done. The mid terms will be manipulated, it’s starting now with redistricting, as will the presidential elections with vote by mail and voting machines. It will be one party rule from now on I’m very sad to say.

ZERO Redeeming Qualities
I watched 2073, a movie/documentary that’s a blend of current reality and hypothetical future. For those who are anxiety prone, it’s tough to watch. But also explains some major aspects of how we’ve ended up in an increasingly autocratic world. I’d recommend it, although it left me feeling helpless.
