I'll bet most of them didn't read that bill. I'm so disgusted. It doesn't just cut healthcare and climate protections, it adds $150 billion to military spending (air and missile defense and investment into the "Golden Dome"). Large tax breaks go to millionaires. $15 billion to "Trump accounts."

The Substance also had excellent cinematography but was skipped too. Gladiator 2 was ignored (the 3rd nominated sequel at the #Oscars this year, 4 if you count Alien Romulus) in many categories because it might have be ātoo boringā for the Academy to nominate their consistently good creative work.

Another film where nominations donāt cover it all #NickelBoys Nominated for Best Picture and Writing (Adapted Screenplay), it shouldāve been nominated for cinematography (unique use of perspective) and editing. Look at this one frame: reflections of people looking at TVs showing MLK in shop window.

Thatās how I recommend watching basically EVERY movie. I rarely watch a whole trailer in case the film is spoiled too much (horror is the biggest culprit). I donāt read reviews until Iāve seen it (synopsis will often do). #Conclave was a surprise for me. Lots of tension. Beautiful cinematography.

Love this film. Every time itās on, I canāt help but stop and watch. Remarkable performances from the whole cast, and to this day, Iām stunned that Chadwick Boseman was ill during production. Itās also easily one of the top MCU films. Groundbreaking, perfect film.

I think it would have been a better film without it being a musical; I think the songs and dancing detract from the subject matter (enjoy musicals, just not like this). Saldana gives a good performance but I don't think it's worthy of 13 nominations. Other films were given short shrift as a result.

Iām grateful we are in WA. My sonās English Lit class is delving into the graphic novel āMarchā by John Lewis. (Last semester, The Crucible.) And in his Psych and US History classes they are discussing Black history, prejudice, etc. I canāt imagine these topics being gone from the curriculum here.

I tried many different meds for chronic depression, but I also have MS (which brings chronic fatigue and pain, etc), and suffer from migraines. I manage my meds closely with my neuro and GP, and have been on the same regimen for a while now. I donāt need to āgo backā or have anything messed with!

Read the book #DarkMatter instead; itās excellent. Blake Crouchās subsequent books, āUpgradeā and then āRecursionā are both excellent. Donāt bother with the TV show. I recommend the book all the time āWayward Pinesā was a better adaptation of his book series of the same name though.

Many people HAVE tried everything before using medications like SSRIs, stimulants, pain meds, etc, to stabilize chronic illnessesāunder supervision of DOCTORS, NEUROLOGISTS, and PSYCHIATRISTS. They also supplement the use of meds with healthy lifestyles! These meds save lives (including my own).

Iāve been reading so much about the plans for 2025 and beyond, that Iām utterly distracted and anxious. Everything I read has me realizing the nightmare is becoming a reality too quickly. Thatās definitely it; different moods, different genres. I donāt think Iād be able to separate storylines or absorb varied information otherwise! I realize I used to very much stick to one book until it was finished, and never stray at all.
