Even putting aside the political stuff (which I obviously don't love) Substack didn't deliver on any of the stuff they promised me to help me grow. Haven't had one regret about leaving and I'm making significantly more money now.
I have to say this offseason has been my biggest three months of growth ever (between the sale, Yang Hansen and Dame's return) and I would have been very annoyed if I was still giving up 10% of my revenue to Substack.
