I'm a little late on this but if anybody in comics, and let's be real, /especially/ somebody who doesn't draw them, says let's embrace AI? they're a traitor and a scab and should never be trusted /ever/ again by the people who actually put the work in to making this genre and industry worth anything

This movie is pretty rad, a surprisingly nuanced take on Indigenous issues for a 90s horror movie, and Greene is fantastic in it as a guy who might be a dangerous trickster spirit. It's free on Tubi, check it out.

RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.

tbh i throw lettering down before i've drawn a single thing haha. i end up moving it around a lot once i start drawing, but it helps me see the space better!
for real though it's the first thing i do. this is what my pages look like before i start drawing (although the balloons don't get tails until after i've penciled). it really helps me visualize the space tbh. and then again with paneling (second step)
(p.s. that last thing: you absolutely shouldn't be doing that if you're working with a separate letterer btw that's something i'm only allowed to do because i letter my own stuff)
no joke this is why i throw letters in before i start drawing haha. they don't have to be perfect but it's a real good reminder to leave that space. i'd do it even if i wasn't responsible for the final lettering tbh (this doesn't save me from when i edit my dialogue after i've drawn the thing oc)
