Apparently, The Dog Outwits The Kidnapper is a sequel! The same family and dog was in something called Rescued By Rover.

McDonald's. Minimum wage, which then was $3.35/hour. Also: paperboy for the Sunday edition of the Minneapolis Tribune (it hadn't merged with the Star yet.) That was $4/week, providing I could collect enough to cover the bill. Often it was zip. The paperboy system was exploitative in the extreme.

16. Mrs. White - Clue. I love all of Madeline Kahn's characters, but the "flames!" bit in Clue puts Mrs. White over the top. Honestly, it's a pity it's only viewable in one of the endings, and not in the meat of the film.

Not a novel per se, but a rather elaborate superhero universe that was sort of cherry picked and mutated from parts of DC and Marvel. Included retcons of silver age goofiness. I was going to use it as a basis for an RPG, but then I realized people don't play RPGs to experience a story.
