I think what's giving me the ick is these ads are basically all just "you'll be skinny" they read very much like weight loss ads and not medicine ads if that makes sense. And the truth is many people even on GLP-1's will not be skinny (which is fine)
I'm not doing a deep dive into the structure of all of the companies selling this stuff. But the point is the same - they're not just compounding meds. I saw *some* ads for those last year and you can see in the language that's what they're doing. These are not those ads (and there are way more now)
I think it also ages them when it knows that it's all that's keeping them out of prison.

The president said something that if you did you could die and they hedged it. It's not just that there's no evidence that drinking beach fixes covid it's that drinking bleach is not safe. Like at all. And they could not bring themselves to say plainly
They want to hedge becasue removing the hedge word suggests they stand for something. There's lots of signs NYT is broken but for me when an editor inserted in a line that hedged drinking bleach in 2020 as a covid treatment cause Trump said so that showed how broken they are.

He won't last the year. One hospice worker said that a good rule of thumb is to look at the rate of deterioration. If it takes months to notice changes in health they likely have months to live, if it's weeks weeks to live, days days to live.
The problem is a lot of them don't see a connection between the positions and the policies they advocated for FOR years and the moment we are in.
The thing about a lot of these never Trump Republicans is that, unlike a lot of institutionalist Dems who think the fever will break and we can all return to comity or whatever, these guys saw the rot up close and know the only appropriate response is to tear them out of government root and branch.
