They desperately need the optics of Black people āriotingā in the streets to justify mass troop deployments. Theyāre getting antsy because to this point we havenāt given them anything to work with. And by āthemā I mean Trump, the GOP and the news media.
Theyāre going to keep ratcheting up the stunts to provoke a response and by and large weāre not playing their game.
They also look stupid because they're boasting a sudden reduction in violent crime based on the same source data that DOJ is challenging as false and unreliable. Looks like the fed surge won't end here anytime soon & his broomstick is headed to Chicago but Black folk aren't buying the bullshit.
