I don't really think I eat almonds (and dont see why vegans would eat more of them) and don't see how that comes into the exploitation between an animal raised for meat and the person who eats that meat. Surely a load of animals are farmed by these same exploited people? I don't see the link.

I didn't do that. Fyi I'm vegan, and so think hurting animals is bad. It's quite rude to say that makes me like a bigot. I think loads of different things are bad (literring, chasing pigeons etc) and think "that's bad" when I see those things.
That's not true where I live I guess. I'd say the majority of all bread I've eaten for decades has been vegan and that's true of everyone I know well enough to talk about bread with.
