There has to be a better way to reach outside the echo chamber. Fragmentation is the enemy. We need coordination among “factions”. Not sure how to better phrase or frame this, but I think it’s important. The loss of a free and objective msm is crushing us and our message.
Reclaiming patriotism. Reclaiming the constitution. As a living embodiment of our country. I’ve never felt more patriotic in my life. True love of country is not blind and unquestioning. It works to achieve that more perfect union.
Veterans, unions, small business owners, lawyers, judges, law enforcement, members of the military, scientists, media, educators, health care workers, women, Hispanics, all people of color, LGBTQ people, … with messages tailored to each group. Emotional appeal combined with facts.

So true. I didn’t agree with my father about many things, especially as he grew older and more “conservative”. But he was a police officer for 40 years. He and many others I knew truly wanted to serve and protect. They were willing to run towards danger, instead of away. Not all, but many.

No, a beautiful double pond in Lee mass. Upper and lower goose ponds. Put in at lower goose pond (more developed), and there’s a beautiful little stream connecting to upper goose pond (almost entirely undeveloped), otherwise only accessible from the Appalachian trail. Beautiful!

We have to turn their undemocratic ambitions to our advantage where we can! Exploit loopholes, find exceptions, use the chaos for own own purposes.
I know plenty of church (a broad definition in some cases, but …) going folk who are liberal, whose congregation are very democratic, liberal, progressive. Good clergy/religious leaders should now feel empowered to have honest and empowering conversations with congregants.
We need to become true constitutionalists, defenders of a living, breathing, document read through the lens of our own time.
But I’d say real election integrity, protecting voters rights, opposing gerrymandering, … may be the most critical issue. But I also think it’s important to start owning the issues they are co-opting and twisting to their purposes.
I want to educate myself on effective nonviolent opposition to fascism and authoritarianism by reading Gene Sharp and other pertinent authors first. But you are right. This is the way.
