Yuta has done the "I have until 5" thing a few times now. I love it. It's now even better with Bryan on commentary to react to this stuff.
Guys like JD are just upset that WWE doesn't give them what they want and that AEW actively chooses to cater to the fans of pro wrestling that left WWE years ago. Many of us choose to be happy for the wrestlers, both in and out of the ring. AEW has said from Day 1 they were going to do it different.

Seeing guys like Cope and Cage really having fun and being able to really tap into their creative wrestling brains is a great thing and I am all for it. You can tell that they are getting younger talents over while teaching them at the same time and that they want to go out on their terms

Fair enough. I just think she hasn't dropped the title because she is the most popular woman on the roster with in-ring skills and is great on the mic. I feel that Mercedes losing the TBS title would give a bigger rub because of her win streak and belts held.

Not sure i agree with this. I think Toni going over Athena makes sense, but only if they aren't done. I can envision a 3 way match between Toni, Athena, and Mercedes where Toni can lose the title without losing the belt. And those 3 together would be absolutely incredible.

Takeshita is going to be the next big babyface. The fans already love him. It seems that no matter how much they try to make him a heel, he still gets cheered on as a babyface. The place would erupt when he turns.
And we would love to see it. He was insanely popular with AEW fans even before he signed full time with them. I can only imagine how HUGE the pop would be if he turned babyface.
We are already seeing Takeshita slowly realizing what is going on. AWith Ospraey and Swerve out on injury, we need a new huge babyface and that should be Takeshita. Also, I really want to see the winner of the G1 go against the "greatest tournament wrestler" of all time. My guess is the C2
I really hope you can get a seat there because there is nothing like seeing it live. I have been to 3 Dynamites and this year's Revolution and it is just a big party filled with people who love pro wrestling. Cheering, laughing, booing, singing; the energy level rarely drops. You will love it.
It probably meant a lot to the talents as well. Getting to perform in historic wrestling venue that they may have seen when they were younger has to be an amazing feeling for them. Last night, Darby showed how he would have belonged in ECW if he was old enough at the time.
I like the idea of Callis trying to recapture the world title, essentially chasing the ghost of Kenny. He will likely keep "collecting" new members until he finally finds someone to win the title, while neglecting those who haven't done it yet, making huge babyfaces in the process.
Not sure, maybe they were experimenting with something new. They have always said they were going to present wrestling differently and this falls into that category.
@AEWDynamite shows pure love for pro wrestling. I can imagine how much the shows at the 2300 Arena mean to TK, but also to the talents. Honoring Taz was beautiful and being able to watch his son perform in his old stomping grounds meant a lot. TK always gives back to the wrestlers who entertained us
Taz has been an incredible addition to AEW. His banter with Excalibur (especially during AEW Dark) has provided a lot of laughs. I really like the Techniques by Taz segments as well. Like you said, he could have handled his injuries poorly, but chose to evolve in the business and he's killing it.
I really loved that during the match, the showed a social media post about Darby being made in a lab. Pretty sure they have never done that before

I get that. I haven't made the commitment to watch NJPW quite yet, but I do keep up with them through reading results and such. Time is just a huge commitment that I don't have much of, otherwise I would be watching NJPW, CMLL, NOAH, etc.
I agree 100%. People have been saying for years that AEW is unable to produce stories, especially long term ones. Yet, here we are doing call backs to things that happened in the first couple of years.
Yeah, I still struggle to find the best way for me to watch ROH on a budget. Most of the time, I have to read results because the videos are difficult to find.

Agreed. Max has really changed the game for me as a pro wrestling fan and has lightened the load on my wallet a bit.
I love this! I just watch whenever I can find the time since I am busy with a career and 3 young kids at home. I wish I could watch it when it airs, but replays on Max have worked out wonderfully for me.
Ian brings something to the desk that not many people can. He can call the show and really convey excitement through our TV screens. If for nothing else, they should at least have him do the Willow Nightingale every time she comes out, it's too much fun.
