This battery powered BYD Sealion 6 got a serious rapid charge last month when it was struck by lightning! The strike happened in Guangxi, China but both the occupants & car itself are fine. An inspection afterwards showed no damage to the battery or the car's electric drive train.

Here's a world first: Tesla Full Self Driving (supervised) in right hand drive in action. Sure, it struggled at times (see here: youtu.be/5DKHOHH_BzY) but overall, it drove better than most human Aussies & kiwis could. I'm genuinely impressed - and I'm dead inside!

Here's something odd. This electric Mustang appears as if it has malfunctioned on the motorway to the point where the driver is praying. Thing is, the Mach-E has mechanical brakes & steering so why doesn't he take control and force the vehicle to a stop? It all seems a bit off.

Driving an electric truck down the motorway on clean electricity has enabled Smug Mode. You can drive this JAC NEV60 on a car license, it costs about the same as a similar diesel truck, hauls 6 tonnes, but fuel/servicing costs are tiny and there's no RUC for 2 more years. Intriguing. Video soon.
