Do these white women talk to women of color as part of their life? I've been blessed to live with women of color as housemates in different times of my life, a woman from Ghana, a woman with indigenous heritage, a black American woman, a woman from India, a woman from Taiwan, etc. We are entangled.

Maybe slow down just a tad. Not that long ago, I was new to Bluesky and did not know what alt text was & someone had to explain it to me, how to do it, etc. I don't think newbies deserve to be ranted at with capital letters. Can we steer things into more gracious communication?

Yup. That's exactly how I could pay my own way through college. Work in the summer and then work part-time during the semester and never had to take out a loan to get a B.A and an M.A. I looked at what my university charges now, and I would not be able to afford it that way now.

Juneteenth is American history. You can't be singing about land of the free on July 4 and not respect formal end of slavery on June 19. The effort of the people with Project 2025 agenda to re-segregate America is appalling. The prison system/deportation system is reverting back to slavery.
