I agree that his musings on the administrations are not good. That disappointed me. But he’s Muslim and grew up in a small town that was surrounded by literal sundown towns. He may have changed since I’ve known him, but the kid I knew then had a good heart.

I talked to Abed Ibrahim, the restaurateur who went viral and got dogpiled for posting about how his fledgling food stand Tallow has struggled to attract customers. He says there's nothing political about frying in tallow—but in today's America, staying out of the culture wars isn't so easy.
