What do people think about using shaping to train your dog. I get the idea of the dog having to focus on what they are doing but the minimal / no prompts feels too overwhelming for my dog. I have found social training (showing the behavior myself before asking for her to copy) better. #dogtraining

We cut down the tree of heaven that was in our yard (there when we moved in) and the number we see outside now is substantially lower. Although that might just be the ecosystem eating more of them.

I've seen it happen a few times. You start a startup with 5 people who all get c-level titles, it survives long enough you can put it on your resume and then from there you won't accept a job below c level even though your only experience is the shittiest software on the planet working by yourself.

I had when my ADHD brain is in that mode where it is avoiding the guilt of not doing something so much that it will automatically get me to forget that important thing I just remembered. If you can't think of it you can't feel bad for not doing it! #adhd

What can be more curious than that the hand of a man, formed for grasping, that of a mole for digging, the leg of the horse, the paddle of the porpoise, and the wing of the bat, should all be constructed on the same pattern, and should include the same bones, in the same relative positions? - Darwin
