I am 76 & I have had most of these vaccinations at one time or another. Also vaccinations against Covid, Tetanus, plus Cholera & Yellow Fever when travelling in foreign countries. These prevented me catching horrible diseases & dying a gruesome death. They did not harm me, they protected me!

Not sure what economists would say but my sense is that Trump's intention to take over control of the Fed will potentially cause much more economic damage to the US than tariffs. This is because interest rates will become unstable, leading to a loss of confidence in borrowing, saving, and investing.

In short, Carney is acting as if things haven’t changed enough to warrant rethinking fundamental governance questions. He keeps mentioning how geopolitics has made the world more dangerous, but IDs China and Russia, not the US, as our main threats. Which has been the status quo for a decade now.
The tl;dr: Greater military spending without acknowledging that the US is the main threat to Canada, and without transforming governance in this country, will be for naught. We need actually ambitious plans, not recycled conservative ideology.
