Love this. In San Francisco, my old roommates & I apparently fed the entire little wildlife community: feral cats (I ended up being adopted by one and we were together for 15 years), raccoons, possums, and skunks. They had a whole hierarchy and routines. The raccoons always washed their food first.

6/ Here were 120+ leftover chicken and pork meals I had to throw away on a night flight to make room for the breakfast service. All those animals that died for nothing. All that one-off plastic harming the environment. Humans not wanting to change for convenience are the virus on this planet.
5/ I’m 61 now and on zero meds and in good physical shape. I’ve become a firm believer in epigenetics, having watched my family members keep their same old habits and suffer the health consequences while I thrive and don’t age at the same rate. 4/ Once I went vegan in my 40’s, I began to soar health wise and improved my physicality. My family called me extreme. Funny, while my older sister swallowed her 9 meds with Diet Coke, because she doesn’t like water. Older brother died of diabetes complications. Other brother on meds since his 30s.
3/ It took some years, but I discovered the now controversial Blood Type Diet, and that got me back on track. I felt good, but not great. Eliminating most meat made me feel lighter, so I cut more and went pescatarian. My mother exclaimed I didn’t have to be so serious as her own health declined.
2/ After being diagnosed as hypoglycemic at 16, my mother and I had to seek out new health info to learn how to manage symptoms. I slipped up in college and wound up in the campus doctor’s office, who told me I could eat all the sugar I liked, as long as I had it with protein. She set me up to fail.
1/ It just amazes me that people don’t see how easily manipulated they are by advertising and messaging in everything from cars, beauty, and fashion to, of course, food choices. But then, they’ve been trained to “ask your doctor” for another pill to mask behavior they don’t want to change. It’s sad.
And never underestimate Trump’s ability to use NLP (neuro lingual programming) to convince cult members to follow him blindly. As for the rest: Divide and Conquer. We are turning the tables on him with demanding full disclosure of the Epstein files. Never stop asking. It drives him mad.
