Resignations can make a difference! In 2005, Dr. Susan Wood resigned from the FDA to protest political delays in approving Plan B, saying she could no longer serve when scientific evidence has been overruled. In 2006, Plan B was approved for OTC use for ages 18+, and in 2013 with no restrictions.
