Ninkoro ep 4-7 Satoko is replaced by a robot which Konoha cannot differentiate between the real one, even though its obvious, which was super funny. Satoko gets big ridiculous boobies to help konoha somehow. Both stories very funny. Then 7 brought to question the morality of Konohas job #anime
Halfway through volume 8 and this is how I would rank the straw hats for me, from least to most enjoyed, so far 4. Usopp 3. Luffy 2. Zolo 1. Sanji Nami is technically still working for Arlong or she would be #1 #manga #onepiece

A Ninja and an Assassin under one roof ep 3 Satoko's job search, followed by immediately quitting was really funny. I love the way that the fast paced visuals and cutesy art design make the more brutal moments more unexpected. The main duo bounce off each other in a really funny way too #anime

A Ninja and an Assassin under one roof ep 2 I really love the way the fast paced visuals lend themselves to the comedy in this show so far. It loves to misdirect, with the Assassin playing the straight man and everyone else being a bit afraid of her. Pretty fun so far. #anime
One Piece vol 6 (54-61) Sanji and zeff have their back story revealed, and Don Krieg and his crew attack the Baratie restaurant. Honestly, I'm not crazy about Don Krieg as a character, especially given that we also meet Zeff and Mihawk this arc, next to them, Don Krieg kinda sucks. #manga
Story beats that were a bit predictable, and the big bad guy at the end was a bit generic, but he was better than 'gorilla god's' villain for sure. It had a lot of heart and I was really rooting for the main cast. Overall really fun and worth the watch, imho #anime

One Piece vol 6 (45-53) Zoro vs Mihawk was one of my favorite moments of the manga so far. It was good in the anime, but GREAT in the manga. Also Sanji feels different from the anime but in a good way. Baratie in general feels more alive and is my favorite arc so far. Happy to keep reading. #manga

One Piece vol 5 (36-44) The story continues moving with Kuro defeated, Usopp joining the crew, and the straw hats making it to the Baratie Restaurant, where Sanji is. I don't remember Zeff demanding one of Luffy's legs and beating the shiznit out of him in the anime, maybe I zoned out #manga

Agreed. I've been joking with my friends that if you're reading it and you miss the anime experience, you can always wait for the next 2 page spread of luffy or zoro doing some move and flip the 3 or 4 pages leading to it like 20 times

One Piece vol 4 (27-35) This is actually feeling pretty well paced as Kuro's crew begins to see defeat, mostly at the hands of Zoro and Luffy. It's actually feeling really good to read, especially since the speed of the story is pretty easy to swallow in this form. Pretty good read so far #Manga
One Piece vol 3 (chap 18-26) I enjoyed Buggy being taken down, and now I'm at Usopp's village arc, and the volume ends with captain Kuro ordering the attack on the village at dawn, as well as the murder of Kaya. I hope the arc doesn't end up feeling insanely long like it did in the anime #manga
One Piece vol 2 (chapters 9-17) The pace is still moving along at a clip as Luffy, Zoro and Nami deal with buggy and his crew. I even like the way the fights feel better in the manga. I think for me, devil fruit powers are such comic book concepts that that's how they feel best for me. #manga
One Piece vol 1 (chapters 1-8) I honestly think this may just be better in manga form for me. It felt much more to the point, the characterization felt better, and the comedy actually hit, unlike the early episodes of the anime for me. And the pacing doesn't feel terrible! Now volume 2! #manga
On a little road trip today for @kennysgreathandle.bsky.social birthday, and I'm about to start the one piece manga on the ride! I'm hoping I like it better than the anime, which I still wasn't crazy about after 130 episodes 😅
It. Overall it was a really good batch of chapters. I still don't like Tuxedo Mask, but he wasn't too bad this volume. Seeing the girls overcome the battle and come out of it stronger was amazing too. #manga #sailormoon
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal Edition volume 2 (chapters 7-13) I loved the introduction of Sailor Venus, and expanding more on the idea of the history of the Moon kingdom. Seeing the Sailor scouts clash against Queen Beryl and Queen Metalia was really fun and had great art to go along with 🧵
