Knowing he'll be acquitted, he could be as arrogant and assertive as he'd like. I'd imagine he'd say he's working to make America great and doing what he's entitled to as president. Many would buy that, regardless of how false it would be to anyone familiar with the law.

That's a random post in a public discussion forum. RFK Jr. referred to the "entire phylum of viruses," and there is simply no such thing. Viruses do evolve in their own, distinct ways, for which there is a classification system, but viruses collectively do not constitute a phylum.

Look at this graph. The share of national income going to the richest 10 percent was lowest (and share to lower 90 percent highest) when union membership was at its highest. As unions have weakened, inequality has widened. This is why we must build back union power.

Most people don't actively think of the war, because of the lavish funding for the war economy and fighters being mostly volunteers drawn by the generous pay. The war isn't perceived as impactful. If money runs out, all of that falls apart.

It's also more complicated than a product being imported or not. When Americans farm carrots, they'll be using fertilisers, hand tools, work clothes and gloves, tractors and wagons, machinery for preprocessing, etc. All of them contribute to the price of what seems like an American carrot.

The same two-thirds majority of the senators present is needed to convict a SCOTUS justice. Without it, they'll just be acquitted, followed by the Republicans declaring it a complete vindication and a baseless witch-hunt by Democrats who knew all they had were their usual lies.

We could also put a solid supermajority in Congress by choosing good candidates, dispensing with the useless ancients, and getting the tens of millions of sleeping voters to vote. A supermajority defeats the president's veto, and a two-thirds majority in the Senate can remove him from office.

If I'm understanding you correctly, we agree: the Democrats aren't going to do any of the things listed in the original post, because a Republican minority can and will block them with filibusters, unless some Democrats break ranks, removing the need for filibustering.

The EU has no such authority over private companies. The agreement said EU companies "are expected" to make investments of that size. But you can also "expect" Santa Claus to bring you presents. The US negotiators aren't stupid; this is why they set the goal for 2028, at the end of his term.

It only takes a simple majority in the House to impeach but a two-thirds majority in the Senate to convict. It would only benefit Trump to get to declare another victory that "vindicates him fully" and proves Democrats have no clue how to play the game, except to lose.
