Oh, that is quite a challenge! When are you going? Iceland can get quite cold and windy and inhospitable... I can't travel light due to my spine injury, but usually there is someone to help you with your stuff, especially if they see you travel alone =)
Since we are moving "just" part time (home during the weekend) I can't bring all my stuff, so I'm packing outfits in separate bags. So far I have learned I have way too few green socks, that this is my only pink outfit and that I definitely needed those new pants and tops I bought the other day!
No, this guy will defend his treasure with teeth and claws too!

Well, an artist did make this, but I guess it was cheaper for the production to skip a color used only for these 6 stitches.

These with big stitches are SO easy to do, and you really feel like you are accomplishing something with every thread =) I find them to be very good if I'm working on something large and fiddly, so I feel like I've actually created something.

He is very sweet. I've only seen him pissed off once, and that was when one of our dogs tried to pick him up by the scruff when he was a kitten. NOT OK!

I love my Subaru Forester 2009 model so much I didn't sell it when I got the 2020 model. Still got it, and it's out and about quite often, it's our loaner, and a lot of people find themselves in need of it's services. Just got it back, actually =)

He has hated carriers since he was a kitten. I tried to bring him home from the breeder in a soft bag thing, and gave up after 5 minutes of whining. He slept the whole way home on my lap. He isn't getting stressed by carriers, but he is Far Too Royal to endure such things ;P

Well, there was a recent spat at the border between Myanmar and Thailand I belive, and of course Israel is slaughtering everyone in Gaza, but that's it for the last few weeks I believe. I'm not listening to or watching news these days, but I do read quite a lot of online (non orange) news.
Of course they love cardboard boxes, laundry and even a piece of paper too, but they do return to their posh stuff =)

Forest cats are "easy to miss" as they often look like a regular longhaired cat, and don't have those MASSIVE ear tufts, or incredibly large size. But if you meet one, you'd know. They are really something else. I would never consider having more than one around at a time! Bloody slave drivers...

Ah, flying raisins! A big hit over here too. There are also wooden sticks with silvervine for cats, even the cheapest Temu-variants are a big hit here =) I'd definitely try those too!
Possibly the worst job in Norwegian Political History has been those that has to deal with presidents like this. Right now that is poor Stoltenberg (former NATO leader). Russia had a whooper, Gorbachev, usually drunk and frisky. I think Stoltenberg Sr was prime minister back then, haha!

We have bought the cats here some really expensive furniture, even stuff made for humans, and as I'm typing I can see Mochi on the most expensive one! I usually find him on the massive dog bed every morning =)
OK, we don't have that one right now. Currently watching my way through a lot of the documentaries on HBO/MAX/Discovery(+) (whatever their name is today), which will take me a while, and then some.
Probably likes the feeling of the fabric. Give him some toys with the same type of fabrics, possibly made for dogs?

Norway has the weirdest TV. "Hey, let's go for a hike in the mountains, meet us there and we'll walk together and send it live". Which meant filming, editing from special backpacks, for hours. And having people on the highest points with extra cell service antennas... Pørni is just regular easy ;P
At least it gets dark that way! Cats can sleep any way they want and still get up, stretch and act like nothing happened. If we slept like that we'd be half dead.

Suicide by cop is HARD over here. Not even the guy that killed over 80 people in a day here in Norway was shot. They didn't save on the zip-ties, but he wasn't hurt. Now he rots in jail for the rest of his life. If he ever gets out he'd be killed in under a week. Probably within hours...

Most of Europe has stopped sending stuff to the US. No one has the systems to manage it properly, so they just shrugged and said "f them".
I have something so rare as cats that actually uses the furniture I buy them! Most of it has to be in medium-dog-size due to the breed of half the cats, but still!
Is there even that many wars in the last 10 years? Not counting the "silent" ones where countries are just looking at each other and throwing a fit every 25 years...
