I’m on the 2nd leg of my 24 day camping fishing trip to Banff and Jasper NPs. Currently in Whitefish, MT doing laundry. North Fork Flathead River, small cutty, and sloppy Joes by campfire.

I don’t usually, just run about 2 ft of tippet 4x -6x depending on the size of fish. I’ve fished it in small streams in the smokies and big rivers out west.
If you have never tried furled leaders, I highly recommend them. Been using theses for years, don’t even bother with tapered leaders anymore.
