For those just catching up: ICE abducted more people after dismissing cases at their immigration hearings in Chicago today. Simultaneously, ~10 people were reportedly detained at an ISAP location in the S Loop, ICE assisted on scene by CPD. Feds assaulted crowd there and drove off.

Second half of immigration court hearings have begun at 55 Monroe in Chicago. We can't film inside or are kicked out. Before lunch, we watched ICE take a half dozen people into custody after DHS dismissed their cases. It's happening in courthouses all over, including NYC at this exact moment.

Lots just happened at once. Group of ICE agents just pushed past protestors, shoving some people - incl. Ald. Quezada - to the ground, in order to escort multiple people into vans, which then drove off. "It's the worst. It's devastating," Quezada says.
