I've never seen it either and everything I know about it is also from Universal Studios and that boring play about it on Broadway. Let me know if it's worth finally seeing.
This happens to me with most shows nowadays. If I have to wait years between seasons, I can't be expected to remember anything, and I usually need a longer recap than they give.
Yeah, the season 1 dance was way more fun. This one was a little boring in comparison, but maybe it will grow on me.
I need everyone to watch LONG STORY SHORT on Netflix so it gets renewed. I haven't loved a new show in a long time. I've said this about shows before, but I think it's the most Jewish show I've ever seen. And because it's a cartoon, it's able to handle pandemic scenes much better than other shows.
A metaphor for how crappy the show is feels a little too on the nose.
And Davy Jones was playing the Artful Dodger!
I have quite a few of these, but my best one is Adam Driver in the off-Broadway play The Retributionists in 2009. I don't remember much about the play itself, but I knew he and someone else in the play, Cristin Milioti, had something special.

There was no karaoke on this week's AND JUST LIKE THAT. What a waste of time. It should just be musical theater people singing and nothing else.
It was canceled, so no. I watched all of it and already don't remember anything about it.
I interviewed Lee Wilkof about doing the Torah portion from his own bar mitzvah in THE RESERVOIR, and of course we talked about ASSASSINS.

I got to interview one of my favorite musical theater writers, David Yazbek. I'm always asking for a DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS revival, so I finally got to talk to him about that. This didn't make it into the article, but he assured me the full DEAD OUTLAW cast recording is coming soon.

The only update I want after the Tony Awards is whether Hue Park is still single.
Oh and ENGLISH was another play I loved that didn't get anything, but at least it has a Pulitzer.
When MAYBE HAPPY ENDING first opened, I was worried it wouldn't sell well enough to stay open long enough for me to see it, and look at it now.

I did love MAYBE HAPPY ENDING and I'm happy it won best musical. The biggest disappointment (other than the musical lead categories) is that JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN and DEAD OUTLAW are going home empty-handed. #TonyAwards

Darren Criss has a Tony Award before Jeremy Jordan and Andrew Durand. And I know he wasn't nominated this year, but Brian d'Arcy James doesn't even have a Tony! #TonyAwards
Ok I do think that Darren Criss was the best I've seen him in MAYBE HAPPY ENDING, but no way did he deserve to win over these other performances. #TonyAwards
I think the problem is that a lot of these shows don't have songs that make sense out of context.
I don't think all the shows sold themselves that well with the #TonyAwards performances, but I love how this season embraced weirdness.
Having Audra do Rose’s Turn as the excerpt of the show is like asking someone to do the storm scene from Lear out of nowhere. Totally bonkers.
It's too bad that DEAD OUTLAW probably won't win anything tonight, but I guess the prize is that it even went to Broadway in the first place. And for me it was one of the best performances of the night. #TonyAwards

Seeing Tom Felton presenting just makes me sad. There was a time when I would have been so excited to see him play Draco Malfoy live, but JK Rowling ruined everything. But you know what doesn't make me sad? Seeing Kara Young make history. #TonyAwards
Is the sound very quiet for you? We have the volume almost as loud as it goes and it is still hard to hear some parts.

The #TonyAwards started off kind of slow for me (it wasn't my favorite opening number, though I appreciated the sentiment and the singing, and I didn't see the first performance that won), but it's picking up.
I don't even know if I used that phrase correctly, but I am just so happy to see such a reliably wonderful actor like Francis Jue win a Tony Award.

The best thing about watching GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK from my living room on the west coast is not having to navigate Times Square in the rain because there is nothing worse than umbrellas in Times Square crowds.
Watching the pre-show of GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK on CNN and it's a nice touch that they are showing the Playbill photos and credits for the cast and creative team. I hope this live telecast is a success and there will be more like this in the future.
I still use DVR. I'm watching live, but recording just in case.
I'm more excited for the Tony Awards this year than I have been in a long time. I really don't know who is going to win in most categories.

I don't. I saw it for the first time in college and didn't get the hype. I think there are certain movies you needed to watch as a kid to love and this is one of them.
I have a few episodes left, but I don't like it as much as I want to. There should be more dancing on the show.
Since Milo Manheim is Seymour in LITTLE SHOP right now, it's only a matter of time until he gets nominated for a Tony and I look forward to that day.
Sorry to hear that REDWOOD is the first show to announce a closing after Tony nominations. I didn't love it, but I do think it's an original and ambitious work for Broadway and I'm always happy to see work like that.

You know this was a good Broadway season when I look at the Tony nominations and I would be happy with multiple different outcomes in most categories, especially for best play and best musical.
I saw a suggested post that was promoting date night packages for THE LAST FIVE YEARS. I guess nothing says romance like a show about divorce.
I stopped watching STRANGER THINGS after the first or second season because I never got that into it, but I'm at STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW and it's cool to see all these people who are big fans of the show. I just like it when people are really into things.

I have a free trial of Peacock, so I've been rewatching SMASH before seeing it on Broadway (though looking at the character list of a lot of names I don't recognize, I'm guessing the story is pretty different). I still love the TV show even though it's frustrating and could have been so much better.

Saw four new Broadway musicals in a row that overall made me feel optimistic about new work on Broadway and now closing out my very quick trip with the great Andrew Scott.
It took almost 30 years, but I'm finally seeing Idina Menzel at the Nederlander Theatre.
Finally, some good news. SCHOOL SPIRITS got renewed for a third season.
I believe he did sing on Jane the Virgin. And he sang in the new DuckTales. And he did Chicago on Broadway.
