From what I've been hearing, restaurants in Florida are closing cuz tourism is struggling. And places like my town, Seattle, tourism is booming. I think people are making political choices where they visit and give their tourism money to.

My sister & I have started standing guard when cops are interacting w/ non-white people in our vicinity. The cops always seem to behave themselves when 2 white women are staring at them w/ crossed arms, phones at the ready. Eye contact, absolute silence, and that Karenish look of disapproval works.

Perhaps they are the true "Blue MAGA." They have a desire for rights, but want white supremacy to stay firmly in place. They also tend to lean towards authoritarianism when they don't get their way, and a "my way or the high way" attitude, especially in election years.
It seems to me, as it's been pointed out many times how much in common they seem to have with MAGA, that perhaps they are actually right wing. They fill that gap of the horseshoe, making it actually a circle. They share certain values with the left side, but have a lot of values with the right, too.

What it means is, it never mattered how popular the policies or who is enforcing them, cuz it was just about getting it up in action. Who is in charge being popular won't matter, because we won't be voting anymore. Trump literally explained that to us when he said we'd never have to vote again.
They keep clinging to the hope of "JD's not popular, MAGA won't stand for it," which is really revealing, because it means that all the non-voters and 3rd party protest voters thought this would end with Trump and they'd be off the hook. They really think their MAGA brethren will get us out of this.
Cuz we're a collective that does that. Until it's none of us judging, all of us will be judged. We refuse to live our lives by the Golden Rule, but demand the people we judge grant us the Golden Rule in return. It's absurd. If you don't judge, great, spend your energy working on other whites who do.
You just need to work on wrapping your head around the white collective. See, every other racial demographic, really any marginalized group, is looked at as a collective. So, what happens to one or what one does, is applied to all. We're just trying to get the white collective to that same place.
