It's OK to support Carney, too. After reading his book Values, I have a clearer picture of how lucky we are to have a PM with his experience and expertise right now IMHO. There will be no deal as long as Trump is there, just constant chaos. We will survive this far better than Americans will.

We have friends who live in their RV and head to Arizona every winter. I doubt that will change for them. Some people just can’t pivot. On the other hand we had no problem stopping our 6-9 times a year trips to the US. Now I doubt I will ever want to go back.

We ditched cable years ago. Hubby has TSN and Sportsnet apps, and I switch streaming services. Right now, I have Disney+. Tons of great free apps, CBC Gem, Knowledge Network, Pluto, Tubi, CBS news, etc. If you have a library card, you can use Kanopy to stream free shows and movies. So many choices.

Your problem in Alberta is that provinces are responsible for healthcare. The Feds just send the healthcare transfers and the province decides how they are spent. Until you get rid of your current government not much the Feds can do.

I used to love summer but now can’t wait for fall. Hubby and I both worked in the school system so had to holiday during peak times. Now that we are retired we can’t wait for summer to be over to travel. Cheaper and less busy.

I was so relieved listening to PM Carney yesterday. Canadian tariffs are a tax on Canadian businesses and consumers. That is why the US removed their CUSMA tariffs, and now we have done the same. I read Carney's book Values, he is so smart, and I have complete faith in him.
