4/4 If you hear a hihat like sound when pressing midi keyboard keys, the emulator isnt enabled. Further info on how to control Cynthcart via Midi is in the Cynthcart manual on page 2 in the bottom right corner here: github.com/PaulSlocum/c... All feedback is welcome!
3/4 It's also possible to start and stop the emulator using the cli config tool with `cfg_usbsid -config 0x9A 0x00` to start and `0x01` to stop. Note that there can be bugs. Starting, stopping and then starting the emulator will cause audible glitches. This can be solved by restarting the board.
2/4 When enabled this takes over control of the SID's and Midi in port and will do so until a stop command is sent or hard reset of the board is done. The CC message to enable the emulator is 0x55 in hex or 85 in decimal and to stop the emulator it's 0x56 in hex or 86 in decimal.
1/4 For anyone interested, the latest USBSID-Pico dev (test) firmware build contains an embedded version of emudore that can run Cynthcart. The builds including the emulator have `_em` in the filename, these builds can be found here: github.com/LouDnl/USBSI...

Cynthcart is very impressive, all credits to Paul Slocum for that. I've only updated and adapted emudore for embedded running. Added mc6850 emulation for the midi in. Not the current version running on usbsidpico. Havent committed everything yet. github.com/LouDnl/emudo...

Added a bunch of i/o stuff to start moving it towards a proper SID editor. Uses simple JSON for loading/saving the entire project state. SID export is a no-brainer because the assembler output is already a SID file. WAV export auto-detects song length. bobbicodes.codeberg.page/nerdySID/
