To be honest I have never heard East Sussex referred to as one of the Home Counties before and Hastings is a very deprived town. We have a huge homeless problem.

My children all attended secondary school in the mid nineties and early 2000s and were obviously very fortunate. They all played musical instruments and the school differentiated the curriculum, working hard to allow for individual needs.
All my children were incredibly lucky and went to a local secondary school in which two languages, music and theatre studies were considered to be part of the curriculum. How things have changed.
This is a tragedy. Skills and knowledge should be available for all students and not just those whose parents can afford to pay for them.
Under the new “failure to prevent fraud” law, large UK companies can be held criminally liable where an “employee, agent, subsidiary or other ‘associated person’” commits a fraud intending to benefit the organisation. Which regulator would enforce this? All required to promote growth of industry.
Statistically, one simple fact remains true, if we deported the Farage rioters and replaced them with asylum seekers British women would be safer.
