My children all attended secondary school in the mid nineties and early 2000s and were obviously very fortunate. They all played musical instruments and the school differentiated the curriculum, working hard to allow for individual needs.

To be honest I have never heard East Sussex referred to as one of the Home Counties before and Hastings is a very deprived town. We have a huge homeless problem.
