The service became a standard communist dinosaur that was losing money to the king, effectively to the taxpayer, so the people in charge of the budget needed to get rid of the black hole. It was privatized in 2013 and was still losing money, many small shareholders were poor, myopic owners

It was serving the public and it serves the public now but it has always had a well defined owner. The word royal refers to the king's family as the owner if you need to explain. The king always cared whether it created profit or loss. Now the owner is křetínský because he was kind to buy it

Also, thank God, in Czechia, we have the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of speech and religion which obviously includes the freedom to say that some religion or all religions or a weird combination of religion+x are wrong and dumb. And most Czechs actually use this freedom almost every day.

I have called myself a Christian atheist many times so I might be a counterexample myself but why would someone try to ostracize people just for using basic logic? And how could any of these things depend on the language. Ateismus a náboženství are as mutually exclusive as atheism and religion

I found this thread by searching for the word Czech, I'm amazed. Maybe aside from other things, you just claim that religion and atheism are mutually exclusive and you are being chastised as a heretic which you seem to accept. Holy cow. Atheism means there's no God, it is the negation of There's one

Exactly. Ukraine and allies should try to keep the current trend for some months, and we probably need to avoid traps intended to change the game

Szijjarto whined, that Madyar is harming him and his very nice Russian friends, and used the Schengen mechanism to ban Madyars entry to the EU

I have been rooting for Ukraine's occupation of Hungary for some time. Of course no one would defend Hungary and I think that Hungary would simply surrender

In Hungarian, the idea sounds crystal clear, one word is enough. eltöredezettségmentesítőtleníttethetetlenségtelenítőtlenkedhetnétek

I think that is this behavior, not just towards Ukraine but towards neighbors concerning irredentism about the kingdom of Hungary, turns out to be chronic, Hungarians should better be deported back to the steppes again. I know exceptions in person but they would probably understand

There is just no way to fight against a leader, it is obviously not just a leader but a majority, or it was a majority. Whether you like it or not, wars involve nations, not just leaders. And whether Hungary will exist in Europe in far future is pure speculation

You might say the same thing about the Russians and it would be even more untrue. Things just don't work in this way. Orbán and Trump were elected to act on behalf of the countries so what they do is what the countries do. What Hungary is doing is unacceptable and may have war like consequences

Hungary is a trivial snack to beat, Ukraine would get lots of resources and a great improvement of the morale
