I feel like i could make a "how to" course on navigating how to question AI. What did this AI learn off of? Was it legally allowed by all parties AI trained on? What are you doing to offset environmental impacts? Do you have proof of your words and can you show us now?
my post now to my post earlier (on AI use) seems so flip floppy but AI is a multi-faceted issue. You have genAI, LLMs, deep learning, even the still being developed AGI (it sucks harder). LLMs are chatgpt/gemini GenAI is Firefly/Midjourney btw the LLMs use focus linguistics. all of them.
The parents or teachers don't know because this is a completely new field for everyone. But I've seen enough stories from teens saying how they hide their usage from parents, don't know how to pull away, keep lying, ect ect. There's worse stuff but this is surface level. This is an incoming problem
w LLMs, I'll go up and down that AI usage shouldn't be touched by anyone under 20. Kids get addicted to it and their usage varies based on their home life, the life they want (but can't have because maybe they're the awkward kid!) or chasing a fantasy. They don't realize signs of addiction either

my guideline does not touch on making my artwork AI. I use AI for tedious tasks (captioning rly sucks ass but it's necessary, extending a stock background for 20 extra pixels to fit a banner isn't going to break me) And now im trying to stop search functions from giving me AI results (bitch)
Additionally my own AI guideline would be: genAI is fine for minor background edits (touching subjects is off limits. That must be traditionally edited) Planning/analyzing thoughts in LLMs non-descriptively is fine Using it as a light project manager (baseline) is fine Captioning w AI, ok
The awesome thing about this though is the pushback has been coming from ... the art dept so we are responding. Will the arts be the one to proactively push back? God I hope so. so bad. Arts have moved civilizations, if art falls then a humanity has fallen and that's a detriment to society
We also need to be actively open about the negativities of this tool in regard to the environment resource usage, against our own education and media literacy. People who refuse to discuss these topics openly and say "just use it" hurt progress and are bad actors, again imo.

This is based off the fact I accidentally deleted module 2's audio. But the way we recorded it, the system had a lot of redundancies in place so there are backups in the video files which is nice bless u (a lil) black magic
I did all of module 1 already as a tester and figured out the best way to streamline this project which is how I knocked out the basic processing just now. all the visuals are corrected and nested. Now I can just cut <3 i also k ow how I'll fix the already cut Audio for mod 1 (bc I hate it)
