It's not mass compliance though. Not at all.
On this and other issues (like ACA subsidies), states might be able to make up for the cuts in federal funding. But these are heavy lifts and will take time. Meanwhile vulnerable people are being harmed and we should correctly assign the blame for that.
Maybe your map updates need more context, like pointing out the mechanisms by which Republicans are enacting their hateful agenda. As it stands, when you highlight problems in Democratic-run states without that context, you're inviting people to vent their anger on the wrong targets.
