My dad lived in a cottage in Wales for a while that was about 300 years old. Wooden beams across the ceilings about 5’10” from the floor and I’ve been 6’2” since I was 14. Must have brained myself multiple times a day when I visited. Can’t help thinking it’s going to catch up with me at some point.

I find the leads tend to be really short so bought a bunch of braided extenders. I’m hoping by changing what I plug in to the extender end and not having to repeatedly plug cables in/out of the ports themselves it’ll extend their lifetime.
They’ll “end the crisis” by breaking the reporting structure so no-one can get reliable stats on progress or lack of it.

Bob Dylan played Wembley same week Lou Reed was at London Palladium. Couldn’t afford both. Was Lou Reed touring “New York”. Still kick myself for missing it. I also had tickets to see The Smiths three times and never got to see them. Two gigs cancelled, one stage collapsed while queuing to get in.

This is the way. I got offered all the management training in the world and it’s not for me, senior dev with a team leader role that only requires me to do 1-2-1s once a month and approve the odd leave request is just about perfect for me. Also, it helped in my case to specialise in back end dev.
