Only one of 8 pets fully reverted, ironically it was a black dog, it lost all texture. She turned beige in paint and texture came back. The other pets looked as they should but wouldn’t stay that way without adding a dot.
I should add that one of these pets (my dog from my library) when I downloaded him, he also lost two traits and his collars. He turned black after I downloaded two other households from my library.
I just added a tiny dot of paint.. like a white dot on a white patch. I fixed three households this way.. I’ll load my game up to see if they reverted but it seemed to work. The only pets that turned black are the ones that had custom paint.. so it was just a little addition.
I fixed my pets by going into paint and putting a tiny dot of colour. (PS5) I tried to colour match. Haha I’m sure you already know this though. 😅
