Yeah the writing is a tad awkward and lacks context. I guess point being that some only equip themselves with false ideology and others have to defend themselves from real bombs etc. Plus that "anti-militarist" sentiment is only evoked towards countries that are *supposedly* supported by the West.

I've been thinking about this case a lot ever since I've heard of it yesterday. A horrific perfect storm of fragmentation of society, loneliness, folk's desperation for money turning into this, the fact this platform is made by casino owners. More is production dictates the form, for sure. Awful.

Found out the Spanish translation of my book costs a whopping $10 more in Chile than in neighbouring Argentina. Apparently due to taxes. I was amazed. I'm very pro everyone paying into the tax system, but when it comes to books, feels like literally the one thing that ought to be tax-free.

Since this post a few months back Laurynas also organised videogames workers x politicians meetings, brought Lithuania closer to recognising gay marriage, have done tonnes for women's rights. And look at them Disco Elysium posters in his Parliament office 😭 -I took the pictures when I visited him 🥰
