I know for a fact several fesses on @fesshole.bsky.social this summer were either wholly or partially generated by AI (because I know the guy who submitted 'em). Not only were they not spotted as fake, they also got dozens of โ at times, quite heated โ replies. Folk are more gullible than you think.

No, you do it wrong. Small items go on the short stretches of line (assuming you're using a rotary dryer). That way, you maximise the amount of available drying space. Also, underwear has less surface area โ so it drip-dries more quickly than shirts and jeans, which need freer exposure to sun/wind.

As to the question of constraint by form, I would once have baulked at this every bit as hard as you did, Paul. Then I chose constraint, consciously and deliberately. I cannot express quite how freeing an experience this has been for me. Who knew shackles could fit so comfortably?
