Finally managed to get to a dentist today thanks to the new NHS dental portal. Credit where due to Welsh Government.
“I’ve been waiting so long to sing my song…”. Manifesting that Alice Cooper plays Download or Bloodstock next year. With the OG band of course.
Took me a while to get into him due to a (now passed) friend who would self harm to his music. That moment seeing him live was an epiphany. Funniest part was being in the toilet and peeing as the crowd swelled to Hallelujah. Utterly surreal but fantastic gig.
Seen him at Glastonbury in 2008. It was rapturous, for want of a better superlative.
The band that started the whole heavy metal journey for me (and reignited it recently). Was ace to hear three tracks from this album live on the recent tour. Always been in my top 3 Maiden albums.
I love heavy metal music in all its styles, genres and permutations. Always have. Nothing will ever beat that 80’s hm sound though. My musical journey in life started here.
