Yep, definitely. Not gonna pretend to understand the financial rules in detail, but where under PSR a sale gets us the fee minus player book value. Under UEFA rules itās all calculated off of headline revenue - so Ā£30m sales like this go a very long way.

Iām all for that model. But they were all Ā£35m-Ā£65m. Risks, but educated risks & we should lean into that model Youāre talking about us not signing JSL for Ā£25m last year as a fundamental failing. 18 goals in 2 seasons at Celta Vigo at 24y/o. Hindsight - good signing. Not the same as Bruno etc.

Villa definitely having a tough window and they do feel like theyāre a year behind us & having our tough 24 window. If they drop off, just shows how good Eddieās coaching / mgmt is. Weāre lucky. Albeit the wrong / long way round, #NUFC also quietly having a good window in terms of incomings.
