#NUFC would be light if we don’t sign a striker. But one of Wissa, JSL or Jackson would mean we’re materially stronger than last season. We’ll be ok.

Might be very quickly proven wrong, but I don’t imagine they’ve let him go without having a second striker lined up. Perhaps Wissa gets done to fulfil the huff-prone striker quota. They’ll be making the same calculations about his likely performances if he stays as we did with Isak.

Wissa/JSL + Waltemade is just as strong as Isak + Wilson, but not signing another striker could be a disaster.

Agree. I would air on the side of overpaying £5/10m to get a deal done today. But think we’ve had a brilliant window, just a traumatic one.
