i know exactly what you mean about talking w your peeps...it's just something that's deep down...and being here in Houston i miss that sooooooo much about nyc...my peeps! Often i find myself on bluesky having most simpatico w people from back east, canada or UK.

Also, a non compete contract applies more when the employee quits the job, not when he is fired. Firing puts a very different perspective on it. So, the clients that watched Colbert won't be able to watch him anymore because of the employers actions, not the employees actions.
if you google non compete contract you'll see the guidelines. They cannot prevent someone from working. Usually, in broad terms, a non compete wants to cover the employee taking clients from their employer & then performing the same job w that client base. I was in one of those contracts once.
good idea and good advice...if you can get your jab before the fall of 2025, the whole process might be easier...and once the jab & office visit are dated, the insurance has to go by the coverage on that date.

I am a doctor, and my hospital system has not found it cost effective for my pediatric clinic to stock covid vaccine (due to low uptake). So those who want it can't get it from me...
but...don't despair...the vaccine is FDA approved. You can go to your doctor's office for a jab and your insurance must cover that. I was seeing alot on this on google. Unless you have some really obscure, weak insurance, you should be OK.

Many states don’t let you get a COVID vaccine without a prescription as they had existing laws that tied access to official CDC approval. This made sense as a safety measure, but now the CDC has been taken over by antivaxxers, several states are rightfully modifying these laws to reinstate access.
