You probably know this, but there is a new novel series that takes place between 89 and Returns. The first one, Resurrection, is out and was surprisingly good. Second is in September or so, I think
My appreciation for Batman 89 has really grown since it was new. I was 18 and liked Burton so I was hyped, despite not being a comic book kid. I ended up being kinda meh on the movie but absolutely love it now. Sequel too
Yeah not āhorrorā in the sense you mean. This book is hard to describe. Iām not as enamored with it as some others here, but itās still solid stuff. It doesnāt fit in a genre. Itās lit, though def strong fantasy elements
