This may explain why there’s an aggressive response to people who merely post Kirk’s own words. It threatens the existence of the alternate Kirk - the motivational speaker that had been marketed to young kids and white Christian groups through selective quotation & clips.
People missing an important point about folks getting fired for whatever they said about Charlie Kirk: Americans are being conditioned to be snitches on their fellow citizens who don’t toe a party line on what is “allowed” to be expressed. And employers are going along. It’s the new secret police
So much criming, the courts either enable or just give up. 🤷♂️

Were mistakes made? Yes, and they were many. I still lay the majority of the blame on: 1. One issue voters who didn’t show up. 2. The racism and misogyny that drove people to vote for fascism or not at all. It’s so hard for me to accept that I find myself *hoping* there was fraud to explain it.

A federal judge has ordered Florida to shut down "Alligator Alcatraz," after the state spent a staggering $218M to build the now-vacant detention camp. Closing it will run taxpayers another $20M. An utterly cruel and costly waste.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work at the city, or even state level. Guns are too portable between jurisdictions. It needs to happen at the federal level. It should have happened decades ago. Unless there is massive change in our federal representation AND judiciary, I don’t see it happening. 💔

Fact. Was just in a doctor’s office yesterday lamenting this. More and more medical professionals are agreeing with me when I bring up universal healthcare. Yesterday’s doc pointed out if we spent the same money (in the form of taxes instead of premiums) our system would be the envy of the world.
