I’m just really struggling with the state of this country. It feels hopeless.
Well corporate deregulation is all that’s left.
This country is in deep trouble.
Insurance companies are not going to want to pay for all these hospitalizations, and it will cause insurance premiums to increase.
Except the Supreme Court just ruled there aren’t parental rights when it comes to transgender care. So they pick and choose.
No money for Medicaid or SNAP or museums or schools or sidewalks or gun violence prevention or art or libraries. Always money for war.

My college friend passed away yesterday from metastatic breast cancer. She was 49. We were texting just the day before. I’m not in the inner circle where family, colleagues, and best friends are, but she was truly a wonderful people and teacher and I am bereft.
