I'm not a business person, but it seems to me quite a challenge as so much of the success of the dominant players is a result of highly-evolved and integrated supply chain. Maybe if the stores were to use the original Lidl model, with highly-restricted stock. Everything you need, nothing more.

Proper tilt and the right seating can eliminate neck problems. Modern TVs are a lot less heat sensitive, and if you have a decent mantle to deflect convective flow you're just fine. I did a lot of 'engineering' putting mine up. Lower than yours and the screen never gets above 35C.
