What amazes/depresses me is that not one reporter is talking about the real costs of bringing manufacturing back to the US. No deep dive, no mention of the cost and time involved, nothing. Nobody is asking these questions.
Trump has no idea how manufacturing works. Even if companies moved all their factories to the US, which they absolutely do not want to do, it takes 2-5 years to bring a single new factory to up-and-running state. That time frame depends on the complexity of the product.
