In all of these eras the White US looks at through rosy lenses, many people were marginalized. Some were in chattel slavery. Some were enslaved, in all but name. Some were shunted into second class status. In this entire span of time, women did not have full human rights, no matter their ethnicity.
MAGA is a movement designed to spread national decline. It is about nostalgia for something that never existed, either in the Antebellum era of the Southeastern US; the turn of the 20th Century "Gilded Age;" or the 1950s.
