Having a degree(s) or a position of authority makes you LESS believable to many of them because "regular guys" like them don't trust them. That podcaster is just like them and tells the truth. You are different and therefore lie. You have to be trusted before you will be believed.
Because they confirm their beliefs. This isn't facts vs feelings for them and thinking that the right facts and evidence will change their mind is part of the problem. You have to first establish that you ARE an authority IN THEIR OPINION that is superior to that podcaster.
Ok. Let's theory that out: How? What are the specific methods to update that amendment and what are the failure points in doing so? (I already know this but people never believe it until they read it themselves)

Thats the thing, influencers and podcasters are the ones confirming their beliefs. You are the one trying to change their minds so you have to prove your case but be MORE convincing than them.
I understand how people get so disgusted with guns they just say "ban them all", but that's not a workable policy proposal in the US. if you want regulation then you'd better have people writing those regulations who understand what a firearm is- in a technical and a legal sense.

You are correct about it being an artificial limit but incorrect in your last statement. People have proven again and again that they will not vote above 20% for a third party candidate. The best funded was Perot and he didn't obtain one electoral vote. The system is rigged to prevent change.
Should they earn it? Yes. Will they try? No. We can clearly see by their reaction and resistance to Mamdani that they will not, as a party, move left. If one chooses to participate in electoralism one should do so with expectations that align with behavior, not wishes.
