There is too much big money in political lobbying along with a whole media ecosystem that was built over years and now thrives on divisiveness. While there is much that people can agree on, there is a giant machine that profits from division. What can be done?

The man in the Oval Office is a notoriously poor operator. He thinks he can just show up, talk, and things get done. He has no idea how to work with people (or, in this instance, other countries). He only has threats and intimidation tactics from a lifetime of unchecked privilege and wealth.

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.
